Good demands

This statement in the Lesson really stood out to me: “Good demands of man every hour, in which to work out the problem of being.” That doesn’t mean I can read the Lesson, do some studying and pray for five minutes and feel I accomplished everything. It means to me to work forever. Watching Point 131 says that whatever we need to increase our understanding and growth infinite Love and wisdom will put in our path. Working out these problems will teach us to hold our thought on God and to be willing to work at it every hour.

Re: Good demands

“Good demands of man every hour, in which to work out the problem of being.”

This statement stood out to me too! I though about the word "problem" being used.

Well, each problem in life has a solution and God supplies every answer when we go to Him. I thought it was interesting to view our experience in this light. Good is demanding us to look to Him! "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." The very first commandment! Obedience can be a hard lesson to learn.

Each day presents its challenges along the way--whether little or big. But if I am prepared with my spiritual armor and with the knowledge that God is right with me, I can know that God will help me through absolutely anything and everything. And He does, often in ways I certainly could never have imagined. And then I see more and more the proof of "Emmanuel-God with us."
