True Knowledge

“…giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge…”

For many, acquiring knowledge has as its primary purpose, to acquire enough wealth to experience freedom. They get their degrees, get their high-paying jobs, acquire lots of stuff, hoping they will eventually have enough to give them real freedom. Many refer to this as “the American dream,” but it is really the Adam dream, and only leads to greater bondage.

Real freedom comes with true knowledge, which comes from God and brings self-mastery over the carnal desires and material senses. This brings real freedom—and that freedom consists in being of service to God and mankind. Yes, servitude brings freedom. What an amazing concept is that!

One of the greatest ways to serve mankind is to engage sincerely in knowing the Truth about man... I learned from this church to mentally say, "Hail son of God or daughter of God," when I meet people. It's a blessing for me to see correctly and blesses those I meet. Also, to welcome the claims that come and work to know the Truth about them must impact the world beliefs!
