presumptuous sins

Before coming to Plainfield I thought fear was to be expected. Now I know that it is presumptuous sin! What a wake up call thanks to a practitioner and the teaching done at the Bible Studies and Roundtable. Although there is much work to be done on my part, it is actually a relief to confront this issue of fear.

Re: presumptuous sins

There can be no greater freedom than freedom from fear.

I think the key to this freedom is found in I John 4. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear." It goes on, but this is what I always remember.

"Love is the liberator." (S&H)
