Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health: "Truth has furnished the key to the kingdom, and with this key Christian Science has opened the door of the human understanding." Eternal gratitude to all of her work to give us this Science, and unending gratitude for the assistance being given at Plainfield. Before I came to Plainfield, I was lost, but I after three years here I have found true joy and learned who I am. And I have found a spiritual community with the life purpose of working for the cause of Christian Science.

Science and Health with KEY to the Scriptures… I don't think I ever appreciated this "key" as much as I do now. Further in this paragraph, it reads, "The ordinary teachings are material and not spiritual. Christian Science teaches only that which is spiritual and divine, and not human."
Before we started our Bible Study here at Plainfield, I participated in some Bible studies with a group of ladies that involved a video series and workbook with homework. I found the videos to be quite entertaining with some good points made, but spiritually speaking, there wasn't much there! I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for unlocking the Scriptures. I find it interesting that many people dedicating their life to God and perhaps with advanced degrees in theological studies may still not have (or want) this "Key" to the Scriptures. I think many do not want to let go of the human and may not even realize how strongly they are holding on to it.
This makes me want to share Christian Science even more! And it was only by coming here and getting clear teaching that I can now share these teachings with others. For me it helps to think of Christian Science as the Laws of the Universe that Jesus first shared with humanity and then Mrs. Eddy discovered for all humanity to learn and treasure.
