Philippians 3:20

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ

Psalm 19:14

14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer."

Psalm 34: 2, 3, 4, 13

2 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
3 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
4 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
13 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Psalm 50:23

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Hebrews 13:5-7

5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

1 Samuel 17: 24, 32-33, 37( to 1st . ), 50

24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.
32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

Ephesians 4: 4 ….we, 14, 15, 22-25, 29-32

1 Peter 1:15-16... as

15... as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Psalm 35:28

28 And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long.

"Preach the gospel to every creature." Speak the truth to every form of error.

354:18-25

Consistency is seen in example more than in precept. Inconsistency is shown by words without deeds, which are like clouds without rain. If our words fail to express our deeds, God will redeem that weakness, and out of the mouth of babes He will perfect praise. The night of materiality is far spent, and with the dawn, Truth will awaken men spiritually to hear and to speak the new tongue.

174:26-28

Why declare that the body is diseased, and picture this disease to the mind, rolling it under the tongue as a sweet morsel and holding it before the thought of both physician and patient?

391:18-28

When the body is supposed to say, “ I am sick,” never plead guilty. Since matter cannot talk, it must be mortal mind error which speaks; therefore meet the intimation with a protest. If you say, “ I am sick,” you plead guilty. Then your adversary will deliver you to the judge (mortal mind), and the judge will sentence you. Disease has no intelligence to declare itself something and announce its name. Mortal mind alone sentences itself. Therefore make your own terms with sickness, and be just to yourself and to others. Mentally contradict every complaint from the body, and rise to the true consciousness of Life as Love, -— as all that is pure, and bearing the fruits of Spirit.

394:32-5

The sick unconsciously argue for suffering, instead of against it. They admit its reality, whereas they should deny it. They should plead in opposition to the testimony of the deceitful senses, and maintain man’s immortality and eternal likeness to God.

Avoid voicing error; but utter the truth of God and the beauty of holiness, the joy of Love and "the peace of God, that passeth all understanding," recommending to all men fellowship in the bonds of Christ.

Wise sayings and garrulous talk may fall to the ground, rather than on the ear or heart of the hearer; but a tender sentiment felt, or a kind word spoken, at the right moment, is never wasted.

367:3-9

The tender word and Christian encouragement of an invalid, pitiful patience with his fears and the removal of them, are better than hecatombs of gushing theories, stereotyped borrowed speeches, and the doling of arguments, which are but so many parodies on legitimate Christian Science, aflame with divine Love.

The real Christian Scientist is constantly accentuating harmony in word and deed, mentally and orally, perpetually repeating this diapason of heaven: "Good is my God, and my God is good. Love is my God, and my God is Love."
