Is there anywhere in the world a more clear presentation of why we must overcome sin, a self apart from God? Ironically, it is religious institutions which muddy the waters by promising relief from sin through pardon instead of reformation - similarly, the medical community through drugs!! How silly! If we were suffering from banging our head against a brick wall, it is plain that stopping the banging will stop the self-inficted pain. This is a law of the universe: "The design of Love is to reform the sinner."SH2 - this is not human opinion or religious dogma. Why is this not more plain to humanity? Because the human mind thinks it can do better by leaving God, the laws of the universe, out of the picture.

Florence 737 posts --- Location: n.a.	04/30/2013 11:06 Re: Laws of the universe S&H #10 If men understood their real spiritual source to be all blessedness, they would struggle for recourse to the spiritual and be at peace… This has to be why some "sick" individuals argue and defend what some doctor has said is wrong with them and hold the material laws superior to the laws of God. Spirituality lays open siege to materialism. On which side are we fighting? S&H 216:9. We can all answer for ourselves.
