What does it mean to "Pour in Truth through floodtides of Love."?
I think I understand about Truth, but what are "floodtides of Love"?

A floodtide of Love is the feeling in your heart when the only thing that matters to you is to obey God; to be willing to lay down your life for a friend; to seek your own only in another's good. It's what happens when you put the needs of mankind way above any personal consideration.
It is not something that is understood. It is felt and lived, and when it is, it is a mightly spiritual force. If you're not feeling it, then you are missing out on the heart and soul of Christian Science.
I first experienced the receiving end of flooodtides of Love when I first met Mrs. Evans, a practitioner in Plainfield.
Mrs. Eddy describes the effect of this floodtide in Watches, Prayers and Arguments (p. 90):
"The law of divine Life, Truth and Love is a law of instant and complete expulsion and elimination of all poisons and impurities from the system. Why? Because the floodtides of Life, Truth and Love are pouring and surging through consciousness, uplifting, purifying, nourishing, healing, elevating, sustaining and energizing mankind."
It doesn't come through the head. It comes through the heart.

Thank you, Gary. Feeling versus intellectually understanding CS was one of my many issues growing up in the culture. This is a great reminder that Science is to be lived through the heart - and not analyzed. This is a main point of emphasis in the Plainfield church. Sadly it was never ever talked about in my branch church.

It is the Christ-spirit. It is beyond the human mind, or when the human mind is put off - unselfed love.
